"Our dearest Dorothea"
—Dorothea's tombstone
Dorothea is one of the ghosts haunting the Haunted Mansion.
History[]
On the hillside near the entrance to the Mansion in Liberty Square is an epitaphless tombstone for a woman named Dorothea. It can be assumed that she was a member of the family that once owned the Mansion (likely the Graceys), seeing how she seems to be part of the family plot.
Behind the scenes[]
- This tombstone debuted in 2011 outside of Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion as part of the interactive queue installation.
- The tombstone is a tribute to Imagineer Dorothea Redmond, who produced concept art for the attraction.
