The Gargoyles are tough enemies featured in The Haunted Mansion. They are less common, but bringing them down takes effort and are considered to be one of the deadliest foes in the mansion.
Overview[]
The gargoyles first appear during the time trial in the Mausoleum. They rely primarily on their brute strength when attacking. Whenever the gargoyles slam the ground with their powerful fists, they summon small, skeletal imp-like creatures which rush at Zeke in a frenzy and explode on contact. The imps are more of a nuisance and are fairly easy to take down, but their tactile explosions deal massive damage. The Gargoyle can also directly attack Zeke if he gets too close for comfort, delivering a devastating swing to the protagonist. Fully charged shots at a safe distance are the best chance Zeke has against the stone monsters.

The gargoyles are gigantic sentient stone-like monsters with a gorilla-like posture and build. They have a muscular build, and their legs seem to be disproportionate to their bulky arms. The armoured skin has scales and is thick and rugged, providing some protection against physical punishment and consequently, grants a large health bar. They have short horns, big ears, and a pair of fangs protruding from their mouths. On their backs are a pair of undersized wings, which seem to be unlikely to support their massive weight.
